In a unexpected partnership that challenges usual expectations, the game developer has announced an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Uncovered
According to the official announcement, "A strange encounter pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where whispers of banned practices and monstrous metamorphoses echo through the obscurity." The narrative features a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a secret cult.
The mission concentrates on "bizarre trials and a monstrous enemy" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Changes
The preview features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser ends with a powerful sequence showing a character, likely the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Rewards and Additional Features
Players who successfully complete the adventure will obtain an unique katana alongside several artifacts hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

This patch also adds the game's latest complimentary story content, titled "The Mystery."
