Tomorrow was expected to become the heaviest precipitation period, with continued thunderstorm potential expected across multiple regions of both states.

Public health experts warned that there was an increased chance of thunderstorm-induced asthma across the northern rural areas, specifically given the existing atmospheric conditions.
