Several people have been injured following a Delta Airlines flight from Los Angeles to Sydney, Australia was hit by turbulence this past Friday.

Delta Flight 41 "went through a short bout of rough air" as it landed at the Sydney airport, an airline spokesperson told. Several cabin crew members required medical attention.

The New South Wales Ambulance Service said they evaluated five individuals, and transported three to a medical facility with relatively minor issues that comprised pain in the back and migraines. The patients' ages ranged from their 30s to 70s.
